Mid-Century Modern Hard Shell Train Case with Key and Tray by Samsonite

This vintage train case by Samsonite is a classic mid-century modern style, likely from the 1950s. It has a structured hard case with a leather/vinyl exterior, it includes the removable 5 section tray and key and sits on four brass ball feet. The lining is vinyl with heavier vinyl inside pockets, one with three sections, the other is one long pocket.
It's both a stylish piece of vintage decor and a useful storage container for makeup, cosmetics and accessories. Also makes great toy or craft storage.
The Streamlite Styles were produced by Shwayder Bros. Inc. in Denver, Colorado. and often feature brass hardware, a top handle, and sometimes included an internal tray or mirror. Note for collectors, this piece is style no. 4612.

C O N D I T I O N
The case is in very good vintage condition with some light scuffs and marks on the exterior and some tarnish on the hardware. Plastic tray has no chips or cracks, just some light scratches. Mirror is a little cloudy, but minimally, its still super usable. Interior is clean, no musty smell.
