Vintage Italian Ceramic Ashtray and Stash Box, Decorative Storage Catchall

This vintage Italian ashtray and stash box set is made of ceramic and hand-painted an iridescent grey with a charcoal and gold leaf frame with a textured faux bamboo design. The piece is functional and unique, a must have for the maximalist home. Would look great styled near the front door or living room and used as a catchall for keys, remotes, etc. It could be used as a jewelry box and of course an ashtray and stash box.
Underside is marked Made in Italy 7718/22 and 443.
These would look great styled on a coffee table or used as a jewelry box and marble catchall tray.

C O N D I T I O N
In vintage condition with signs of use and age. The box is hand painted and you can see signs of that, some visible brush strokes and occasional imperfections. There has been some color loss in some of the gold leaf paint, predominantly on the frame and corners of the ashtray but a little on the edges of the box. There are a few tiny chips in the paint there too, a few have been patched with gold paint. There is some crazing (a normal cracking pattern on the glaze, not the ceramic) on the inside.
