Beautiful Art Deco mannequin head millinery stand. This was originally used in shop displays for hats and wigs but is now also coveted by collectors for in-home display.
The sleek, stylized features and elongated form of the head are characteristic of the Art Deco movement, which emphasized geometric shapes, streamlined forms and a sense of modernity. This bust came from the estate of a prolific art deco and vintage collector from New York.
She is made of plastic and would fit in a variety of modern stores for jewelry display, hats, wigs or salon decor.

Good condition with signs of use and age, some dings and scratches in the finish and red paint marks under the chin and nose. This could all easily be painted over but we're leaving that up to the buyer.
