Vintage Last Rites crucifix sick call set, comes with two candles, small cloth, instructions and an empty holy water bottle that was used or evaporated but I have a bottle I can fill it with if you would like, just let me know. The candles swing out from the back and the cross can be taken off and on. It's made of heavy, solid wood.
Includes instructions that label the set a "St. Francis Victory Shrine" made by St. Francis Woodcraft in Nevada, MS. The set in the photo has slight variations to this one but overall the same style by the same craftspeople.
This tabletop set is a rare style I've never come across before. I would date it to around the 1940s, could certainly be older. Edmund Francis Gibbons is listed as the archbishop of Albany in the paperwork, he served from 1919-1954.

Set is in good vintage condition with normal signs of use and age. Since there aren't any others online and I've never seen this style before, I can't tell how the back was supposed to close but it looks like it was. There's some really old tape on the sides and the instructions are taped inside. There's a little compartment built in that stores Some dings and a little melted wax on the wood. The candles are two different colors, like maybe one was exposed to the sun, I doubt they are original. The candle holders have some melted wax, small cracks and oxidation. The holy water is empty but I can refill it from a bottle I have if you'd like. The instruction page is so fragile and old so it is chipped and crumbling but still readable.
