Louis Diat was the renowned chef at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York City for over 35 years.
The recipe book was originally published in 1941 by J.B. Lippincott Co.
It features haute cuisine recipes as well as regional French dishes.
Diat is famously credited with inventing the cold soup Vichyssoise

C O N D I T I O N
Good vintage condition with light signs of use and age, some shelf and edge wear, predominantly on the dust jacket which also has some chipping and a few small tears. Theres some discoloration (probably glue) along the binding on the inside cover.
