Beautiful, vintage mannequin head millinery stands, originally used in shop displays for hats and wigs but are now also coveted by collectors for in home display. These art deco style heads have an old world, timeless aesthetic that would fit in a variety of modern stores for jewelry display, hats, wigs or salon decor.
These ladies are hand-painted and made of some kind of resin with a plaster component. They came from the estate of a prolific art deco and vintage collector from New York. Since they are the only ones of their kind that we have been able to locate and have no makers mark, we've been unable to determine exactly how old they are.

C O N D I T I O N
They both are in vintage condition with some light signs of use and age that can be seen if you look up close like the occasional mark or smudge. The mannequin without the shoulder has a 1mm high x 2" long chip along the underside on the back side, not very noticeable, as photographed in the reverse image.
please keep in mind when buying any of our items that vintage means they’ve lived long lives before finding their way to you and are preloved unless otherwise specified. signs of wear, use and age are to be expected and add to the character of the piece.
