Vintage 1950s Samsonite Admiral medium suitcase in blue marble with cream trim, reinforced edges and brass hardware. This carry on size travel bag is a great size and style for a men's weekender bag. Retro suitcases also make stylish storage for toys or accessories.
A vintage American Airlines logo sticker is visible on the front, making this piece more special, collectible and classic mid-century modern.
The suitcase opens to a navy fabric interior, one side is open with matching double side pocket compartments and ribbon ties. The other is open with a ruched drape fabric clip back feature.
Complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) carry-on luggage regulations, (bags may not exceed 22"W x 14"H x 9"D).

C O N D I T I O N
In good vintage condition, especially for its age. Suitcase shows signs of wear and age. There are some marks, scuffs and scratches on the marble finish. Some scuffs and discoloration on the beige handle and trim. There are a lot of breaks in stitching on the trim, but the stitching appears to be just cosmetic. The brass hardware has some patina, a few rust spots. The hardware component visible when the case is open also shows wear. The interior is clean and clear, the ribbons are frayed at the ends. All pictured and don’t take away from the case overall, we just like to be thorough.
please keep in mind when buying any of our items that vintage means they’ve lived long lives before finding their way to you and are preloved unless otherwise specified. signs of wear, use and age are to be expected and add to the character of the piece.
