This vintage jewelry box has a black exterior with gold star design, embellished trim and opens to two red/dark pink satin lined tiers and one drawer with separate spaces for earrings storage, rings and bracelets. We rarely see this jewelry box in black and the star design is incredibly rare.
Looks great open or closed, ideal for the maximalist who wants to display their jewelry. Has a classic old Hollywood look when open but somehow also perfect for a goth bedroom or vanity decor. A unique vintage gift for your lover or mother, whoever.
A brass latch opens and closes the box, a key isn't required and wasn't included.
Unmarked but is Mele or Lady Buxton style.

C O N D I T I O N
In vintage condition with signs of use and age. Keep in mind, this style jewelry box is 60-70 years old, they all have some degree of wear and we only sell ones we would display ourselves. On the exterior there are some scratches and edge/corner wear, particularly along the top edge along the back side and the front corners. Some fading to the gold stars. The red interior has some small light scratches or pin marks, mostly in the lid and not particularly overt, a 1/2 cm hole is also in the corner of the lid, it's out of the way and not really noticeable. Brass hardware shows wear. All photographed.
