Vintage Leather Jewelry Box with Embossed Egyptian Scene

This vintage jewelry box features an embossed leather Egyptian art scene on the lid, hieroglyphics and a stylized floral design on all four sides.
The box opens to a royal blue velvet interior with spaces for rings, earrings, etc. Top shelf is divided into three compartments, ring slots in the center. This lifts out to large bottom compartment.
Box has four feet on bottom, and a key to lock the box if you wish. A brass latch opens and closes the box, so the key isn't required.
A unique vintage gift for a jewelry collector, art history student or art lover.

In good vintage condition with signs of use and age. There's some tanning/variation in the color of the leather. The front righthand corner has a mark on the leather as pictured. Some patina and signs of wear on the hardware. Inside is clean and clear and overall the box looks great.
