Norwegian pewter lidded bowl purchased in the 1960s. The pedestal type base rises to the bowl which features an inlayed design of woman blowing a long horn, standing amongst trees, then a design rectangle and then a classic style Norwegian building amongst trees. This design is repeated around the bowl.

Bowl is in good vintage condition. From some angles it looks a little crooked but that's the nature of it's construction, not a flaw. The metal shows signs of age and use, some patina and a few specs of discoloration here and there, I've made no attempt to clean or polish it as many people prefer these types of pieces this way.
please keep in mind when buying any of our items that vintage means they’ve lived long lives before finding their way to you and are preloved unless otherwise specified. signs of wear, use and age are to be expected and add to the character of the piece.
we do our best to accurately and honestly describe all of our items and will always point out major flaws like cracks, chips, missing pieces, abnormal wear, etc.
photos are the most crucial part of an item’s description. be sure to look at all photos and please zoom in. we are happy to send along more, just ask!
