The undersides are marked in this format, "Plate #43 Bombycilla Carolinensis, Reproduced From the Elephant Folio Edition of Audobon's Birds of America, Endorsed by National Audubon Society New York, Cedar Bird, Alfred Meakin England "

Good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, some crazing on plates 18, 62, 79, 114, 168 which isn't a damage, just the appearance of a light webbed cracking pattern in the glaze of the plates, not cracks in the plates themselves. Plates 17, 18 and 79 have one or two small marks that are impossible to remove and the same color as part of the design so it appears it's a color transfer from when the plates were printed, not a big deal if you're hanging them but if you're using them for serving, your guest might think they aren't clean.
