Rare iconic Fortnum and Mason caviar pot. Made by Crown Devon, these have become increasingly popular to collectors. This black transferware piee has a sturgeon on one side and Fortnum & Mason finest caviar on the reverse side. The Royal warrant is on the lid. "By Appointment to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II"
Fortnum & Mason has been a supplier to the Royal Family for over 300 years, since the company's founding in 1707. The store's history is closely tied to the monarchy, which has helped establish its reputation as a luxury brand.

Great vintage condition, the black transfer is still bold, bright and complete. It looks like there's a chip maybe in the rim but I honestly can't tell if it's just a flaw in the pottery and not a damage because it looks glazed, I can't tell.
