The Monkees Tale was released months before MTV sparked a Monkees comeback, this book became the definitive guide for fans of the group in the 1980s and a great read for fans of 1960s pop music. 2nd printing 1986
Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz as the Monkees reunited for a 1987 Summer Tour that featured Weird Al Yankovic as the opening act. Program includes lots of photos of the Monkees both on and off stage on the tour, as well as bios of each one.

C O N D I T I O N
Both books in used vintage condition, the purple Monkees Tale shows a little more wear, has a crease on the cover and some light marks on the inside cover, both have shelf and edge wear. The outer edge of the binding on the program is worn.
