This is an original vintage 1991 poster "Greater Yellowstone" by Heinrich Berann. This rare, large scale Yellowstone national park poster is a great gift for travelers or souvenir home decor for hikers and lovers of the US national parks.
This rare, colorful poster depicts scenic park features and the 28- by 48-mile caldera, or basin, created by a massive volcanic eruption 600,000 years ago. At the head of the poster reads: Mammoth Hot Springs, Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake, Grand Teton, the far-reaching Greater Yellowstone area reverberates with places symbolizing the American West. Today Federal land agencies and other groups work together to protect this magnificent natural habitat of the grizzly bear, elk, bison, trumpeter swan, and other wildlife.
This stunning panorama is one of four that Heinrich Berann produced for the National Parks Service between 1987-1994. An Austrian artist, Berann pioneered original techniques of mountainscape painting that combined modern cartography with classical painting to emphasize the natural beauty of the terrain. He used clouds to achieve vanishing point effects and highlight reflective bodies of water, while augmenting colors and exaggerating important features. Cartographer Tom Patterson has described the effect as “absolutely magical…similar to what you might see from the window of a plane, and yet better than any possible real-world view.”

This poster is in great condition with excellent color. It does have minor creasing, border wear and surface wear. Please see all photos, the flaws are pretty minimal and difficult to photograph so I'm pointing to the creases I'm referring to and you can see the type of border wear I'm referring to in that same photo.
