Rare Reliquary Crucifix with Compartment for Relics from Sainte Anne de Beaupré

Antique three-dimensional pectoral crucifix charm shows a detailed crucified Jesus with a banner above his head. A removable finial unscrews from the bottom and the cross opens to a red compartment for tiny religious relics. Currently it has tiny pieces of paper that say St. Therese and St. Anne S. Gerard.

The piece is made of a patinated silver tone metal with and a dark wood inlayed cross.

The back is engraved and it looks like it says Sir or Sin Ste Anne de Beaupré

C O N D I T I O N
In antique condition, well-aged with typical signs of wear and age throughout (patina, scratches, tiny chips in the wood, mostly can be seen on the right facing edge.
