Set of Blessed Candles made of beeswax come in their original box and are from the 1950s. Box comes with two inserts with the history and purpose of the candles and a prayer and there are instructions for use on the box. Typically used as part of a sick call set or Last Rites crucifix but can be used for other things. But for administration of the Sacraments, Blessed Candles made of beeswax should be used.
Candles are burned not only when death hovers over the household but also when an individual of the family is undergoing some trial or hardship where Divine guidance is wished or when a member is absent from the home, making them a thoughtful long distance gift. These are also used in Catholic homes to celebrate Candlemas, the Feast of Purification and there's a prayer insert for that.

Approximate Measurements:
Box is 11”L x 2 1/2W x 1”H, one candle is burned and is 7 1/2” long, the other is 10” unburned
Condition:
One candle has been burned about 2.5” down, there’s foxing on the inside of the box, small brownish stains as pictured.
