This piece of modern christian art is a color fine art photographed detail from a large Jerusalem style religious icon. They were painted by itinerant artists who traveled throughout Greece, taking commissions to paint public and private churches. Although the style tends to look more fluid and “naive” than the sophisticated Byzantine Style, it is very skillful. The photograph is sold matted and framed and is a limited edition.
Nancy Noble Gardner (1970, American) is a fine art photographer who explores the themes of eternity and balance through entrancing photographs; she exhibits primarily in the Northeast. Noble Gardner also maintains a psychotherapy practice in Upstate New York.
Gold framed and ready to hang! Piece is in great condition, frame shows some slight wear as pictured.
